As a headshot photographer, my approach is to apply 2 types of acting methods to get my subjects to a creative, in-the-moment state. The Method technique brings you to a positive place in your past, and captures the essence needed for the perfect shot. Simultaneously, the Meisner technique draws out spontaneous reactions, bypassing overthinking for a raw, instinctual response. This combo is the foundation of my approach, spanning decades, in the various photographic scenarios in my photographic journey, from Headshots, to weddings. Photography is a collaboration – the photographer guides, and you respond authentically. No stiff poses; it’s a lively interaction crafting a genuine connection between myself and the subject. This borrowed dance from the world of drama adds authenticity, going beyond merely capturing your face. In my photographic journey, these techniques aren’t confined to a specific style but weave through every session, turning moments into timeless stories. This fusion ensures each photo is not just an image but a heartfelt connection to the subject’s essence.
